Festool is now looking to strengthen its team, and PIKE Personal has once again been entrusted to help them find their new service technician.

Locally, they have been present in the Swedish market since 1984 through their headquarters in Malmö. They sell their products through professional specialty retailers such as hardware stores, building markets, and paint shops.

About the position:

Festool aims to be a premium company, which requires maintaining high quality and providing the best service to customers. They now need to strengthen the team with a service technician, and the role includes the following tasks:

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing hand tools and semi-stationary power tools

• Selecting spare parts and replacing necessary components

• Assembly and final testing of tools

• Customer contact with both retailers and end customers

• Close collaboration with customer service and other internal contacts

You will get to experience repairing a wide range of tools, where your workday can offer a variety of different challenges. As a newly hired service technician at Festool, you will be assigned a mentor who supports you in your daily work.

About you:

To succeed in the role of service technician, we prefer that you have a mechanical or electrical education and preferably previous experience in the role of service technician, with an advantage of experience in servicing and repairing small machines. Furthermore, you have worked in a practical role with troubleshooting and have a good understanding of reading exploded views. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and it is advantageous if you speak Danish, but it is not a requirement for the position. The corporate language is English, so you need to have an understanding of this language. You are an experienced computer user, and it is advantageous if you have previous experience with SAP.

To thrive in the position, you are driven by providing good service, communicate well, and have the ability to understand the customer's needs. Furthermore, you are a hardworking doer who gets your tasks completed and works solution-oriented. As a person, you are stress-resistant and work in a structured and independent manner.
